What Does The Treatment Involve?
The procedure is performed as an outpatient treatment as no incisions are needed. The threads are placed under the skin via needles. A local anaesthetic is applied 10 – 20 minutes before the treatment. The procedure involves threads being inserted underneath the skin using a microneedle to redefine and restore lost volume in the face.
On average, a Silhouette Soft procedure will take around 30-45 minutes, and most patients can see results immediately after treatment. The time required will vary a little with the complexity required and the number of facial threads you are having placed.
How Long Do The Result From The Non-Surgical Facelift Treatment Last?
Results can be seen immediately after the treatment, and the rejuvenation effects will begin to be seen after 3 months. The results are expected to last 12-24 months and vary from person to person, driven by the collagen stimulation around the suture and cone structures.

Aftercare
You will be able to carry on with your normal activities following treatment. It is not advised to do any heavy exercise and avoid UV exposure for 24 hours.
Immediately after the lifting and placements, there will be a series of needle marks on each side of the face.
You may experience some bruising and swelling around the sutures, although this tends to be minor and short-lived. For up to a week after the procedure, it may feel tender around the sutures.

Thread Lifts Side effects
Silhouette Soft is a safe, minimally invasive treatment to be used by a trained practitioner. Patients can experience minor pain, swelling and bruising, common side effects with any aesthetic treatment.
Slight skin depressions or tightness can occur for a few days following the treatment, but these are typically short lived.
